Which server do I pick?
We utilize a wide variety of servers hosted over various parts of the world to bring you the best connectivity. Servers belonging to the same Group belong to the same network therefore using one or the other from the same Group will yield similar ping results.
US realms are hosted for Blizzard in several datacenters across the United States. They are located in:
* Boston, Massachusetts (Our Boston and Atlanta servers work well with this)
* Dallas, Texas (Our Dallas and Atlanta servers work well with this)
* Los Angeles, California (Our Los Angeles servers work well with this)
* Seattle, Washington (Our Seattle and Los Angeles servers work well with this)
Picking a gamepath server that is closest to your WOW Realm will yield the best results however there may be some exceptions. (For some users from Singapore or Malaysia who have some issues connecting to the USA may wish to use our local servers instead.)

If your current putty list does not display all servers, please download and run the latest server listing.
Click the Ping All Servers button to run a simple ping test to our servers. (Might not work with some systems due to security settings). Alternatively, you can also run a ping/tracert test by going to the Command Prompt and typing "ping gatenumber.gamepath.net" and "tracert gatenumber.gamepath.net" respectively.
The one that gives you the lowest ms is the better one for you.
If you are still unsure, just ignore what was just mentioned experiment with the servers 1 by 1 to find the best one for yourself.
